ck2x3Cynthia Kuhn writes the Lila Maclean Academic Mystery series: The Semester of Our Discontent, an Agatha Award recipient (Best First Novel); The Art of Vanishing, a Lefty Award finalist (Best Humorous Mystery); and The Spirit in Question, forthcoming fall 2018.

Her work has also appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Literary Mama, Copper Nickel, Prick of the Spindle, Mama PhD, and other publications.

She is professor of English at Metropolitan State University of Denver, serves as president of Sisters in Crime-Colorado, and blogs with Chicks on the Case.

Memberships include Sisters in Crime (National, Guppies, and Colorado chapters), Mystery Writers of America (National and Rocky Mountain chapters), International Thriller Writers, and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers.
