ck2x3Cynthia Kuhn writes the Lila Maclean Academic Mystery series: The Semester of Our Discontent, an Agatha Award recipient for Best First Novel; The Art of Vanishing, a Lefty Award nominee for Best Humorous Mystery; and The Spirit in Question, forthcoming fall 2018.

Her work has also appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Literary Mama, Copper Nickel, Prick of the Spindle, Mama PhD, and other publications.

She is professor of English at Metropolitan State University of Denver and serves as president of Sisters in Crime-Colorado.

Memberships include Sisters in Crime (National, Guppies, and Colorado chapters), Mystery Writers of America (National and Rocky Mountain chapters), International Thriller Writers, Chicks on the Case, and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers.
